And...running as fast as I can. Just got back from Seattle. A great visit with family and celebrating Mom's 87th birthday!

Look how fantastic 87 looks! |
Some lovely meals including a special "new" or new to us (it's been open 15 years) restaurant for dinner - Nell's. Outstanding. The at home meals were nothing to sneeze at either, king salmon one night and tenderloin filets on birthday night. Yum.
Only one drizzly day, the rest beautiful and sunny, and I walked with Anne and their new puppy Zia most mornings. She comes from Taiwan - really. A rescue group flew back a number of puppies to the U.S. She is mostly Taiwanese mountain dog, the rest a big mystery. So sweet and smart, but no, this does not encourage me to have pets again. Nope, I'll just visit...
The neighborhood is quite the eclectic statement. Walking distance to coffee shops (of course!) and every type of garden/decor you can imagine. Lots of veggie gardens out front, to get the most sun I suppose.

free books - dotted around the neighborhood |

Spring Equinox tree |

neighborhood decor obelisk, a self professed "Tutnut" as his license plate states |
Ferry to Bainbridge Island for a day of fun with gorgeous weather. Ferries are a way of life here.
And lastly a window into the small, but lush sweet back yard between Mom and Anne's houses. They are both talented gardeners - a double whammy.
Next, Sun, fun and beach, with Tiffany and Miss Penny in Naples. Really the tedium and ennui of my life. What shall I do...
