Family visit part 2

And the visit is over boo. We had a wonderful time with our Adams family and it went by too fast for sure. Come back anytime!

Scientist at work
Sherry, Katie, and I went hiking on Judd Falls. Very picturesque short hike popular with families, summer campers, and even horseback riders with a lovely waterfall at the top. It's past the little town of Gothic which also houses the RMBL (Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory) started in 1928,which has become world renowned for scientific research about our ecosystems.

That bow is serious stuff. Happily Paul was just practicing and sighting in. The target box is made of layers and layers of cardboard believe or not.

Summer marches on and the animals continued living their life around us. Hummingbirds eat ferociously from dawn to dusk. They're going through a gallon plus a quart of sugar water everyday right now.

What's not to love around here. It's just fantastic everywhere you look. The towns have been jammed with summer visitors. They know it's great too.
