Company visit part one

This is going to part 1 of 2 as with virtually all our company visits, so much happens I can't possibly put it all up on one post. Hiking, fishing, shopping, swimming, jeeping, painting, and general hilarity is happening. Also lots of eating.

Ah yes, the morning wildflower walks. And the posing of course...

The flowers are grand this year. Enjoying the fruits of the wettest May in 101 years.

Anne, Clare, and Justine
Mom - what a trooper!
Some of you out there will recognize these blankets. Denali is the brand, we are huge fans and they have nearly gone out of this house in someone's suitcase more than once. Oh, and it is a tad chilly here at night.

George and Linda came over to join the crowd for a couple nights as well. Of course lots of eating has been done. Fish tacos, lime chicken, Shrimp Paesano, and Cuban pork. More to come!

Mom fished!
The cattle seem to be admiring Anne or wanting in, not sure which.
Fishing at the pond. Not all fished (Anne and myself), and some caught fish, and some just worked really, really hard trying...

Wildlife report: deer abound, even a few elk, still only a few hummingbirds, and the coyote howling at night continues.

Demonstrations were a theme so far. One was for mandoline and the best knife sharpener system known. Thanks Paul! George immediately ordered one - Lansky

Mom and I found a great spot to sit and paint. She is an inspiration and continues to produce beautiful paintings.

I'll be back with part two. 4th of July next!
