Family visit part one

FAMILY! Wonderful time being had, even with two parties under the weather (Penny and Jay) It's not fun to be sick and certainly not on vacation. Recovery is underway happily.

Penny's a tad too young for this
And this...
But not this
Or this
Some of us made it up to the mountain  (Mt. CB) and it was hopping. The kids adventure center pulls in a lot of people.

Lunch at Avalanche which is a favorite stop when skiing. Hard to imagine it's the same place in summer.

Montanya rum of course
Lots of fun dinners with everyone incuding a Cuban night with roast pork, plantains, yuca, beans and rice complete with Heather's mojitos.

And a weasel came to visit, perhaps that's why the rest have disappeared?
A lot of the chipmunks and ground squirrels have disappeared but still a few to come up for the free food. Penny wished to see what this was all about.

Lisa and Charles have come and gone sadly but we had a lot of fun in a short length of time. Juliet is personality plus and certainly got them revved up for their own soon to arrive granddaughter.

And this is the chosen one - fabulous!
Lisa brought her Star Mt. series for us to choose one. What an amazing talent. Go to her website for more paintings and info. www.lisaadamsreed.com. She's got a one woman show coming up in Dallas in October.

Juliet's participation was practicing eating with a spoon
More playground action. There are an amazing amount of terrific playgrounds in our area. No idea why - thanks though!

And painting by Lisa and Penny. Face painting that is, no other explanation needed...And red and blue do not come off easily by the way.

Photography by Heather
Heather, Lisa, and I went on a small adventure ride up Carbon Creek and amazingly, did not get into trouble. We have a history you see...

More coming soon. And in the meantime, CB has been taken over by BudLight and the Whatever town commercial shoot. Blue everywhere, pretend beach, giant blue inflatables and 1,000 contestants coming tomorrow to party hearty. Help!
